Ryan graduated with a BSc in Artificial Intelligence at Aberdeen University in 2011. He was once inspired to become a teacher, and although his passion for learning and helping others to learn has remained, thankfully for us he decided his true vocation was in computing! He considers the 70s and 80s as 'the golden age of video games' when arcades were in full swing and home computers were just starting to be introduced; a time in which he would have loved to have lived through. Looking forward, he is curious to see the advancement of self-driving vehicles and robotics, believing that sci-fi could become real life. When not coding away, Ryan enjoys spending time going on adventures with his family and is currently working on a project to completely reverse engineer his favourite game back to its original 68K assembly source code. A particularly proud moment in his life was winning 1st place in the parent's race at his daughter's P1 sports day!
