We take your privacy very seriously and take great care with your personal data. If you don't already know your privacy rights then please visit www.knowyourprivacyrights.org. Here is a description of the personal data we collect and what we do with it:
We use Google Analytics to help us understand various things about how our website is being used. This covers which parts of our website are visited, which pages are entry points, which pages are exits and what search terms are used to find us. Google Analytics does not allow us to identify you personally, but sometimes it does store information that could be used to help identify you (e.g. IP address). We don't use that information though. We only care about the overall website statistics.
If you fill out our form on the "Contact Us" page, then we will use the personal information you provide (name, email and phone number) to get back in touch to answer your specific query. We won't use your information for any other purpose than responding to your specific query and any follow-up discussions we might have.
If your are a customer or supplier, then we'll likely have a contract between us that covers privacy and data protection. Generally speaking though, we only use your contact information so that we can get in touch with you. In the past we have sent out a few marketing emails, but nowadays we just post it on social media and our website instead. So please follow us via the links in the footer!
If you apply to join the team, then we will use your personal data as part of your application. This includes all the personal data on your CV along with anything else you may provide us. If you are not offered a job, then we'll keep this information along with our notes for 24 months from your date of application. We need to do this just in case we have to prove that we handled your application properly.
If you are currently employed by us, then read the HR section in the Codify docs for details on employee privacy and personal data. If you are a former employee, then we keep your personnel file for 7 years after you leave. We do this in case there are any claims or queries after you have left.
As part of the work we do, we act as data processors for our customers. This data is controlled by our customers and we don't use it for any other purpose other than to provide software services to and for them.
